요구자본 전분기 대비 4.6조 늘어…주식위험·운영리스크 탓

[금융감독원 제공] 보험회사의 지급여력 비율(K-ICS)이 전분기 대비 하락했다.지급여력비율은 자용자본을 요구자본으로 나눈 값이다.낮을 수로 보험금을 지급할 여력이 떨어졌다는 뜻이다.

금융감독원이 11일 공개한 '3월말 기준 보험회사 지급여력비율 현황'에 따르면 3월말 경과조치 적용 후 보험회사의 지급여력비율은 223.6%를 기록했다.전 분기(232.2%) 대비 8.6%포인트(p) 하락했다.

경과조치는 킥스비율 도입으로 지급여력비율이 떨어질 것을 감안해 일정기간 신규위험액 측정을 단계적으로 유예하는 것이다.

업권별로 살펴보면 생보사는 222.8%로 전분기에 비해 10.0%p 떨어졌고,연예인유출손보사는 224.7%로 같은기간 6.7%p 내렸다.

이는 운영리스크 강화 등 요구자본이 크게 증가한 결과다.가용자본은 증가했지만 상재적으로 필요한 비용이 컸다는 뜻이다.

3월말 경과조치 후 K-ICS 요구자본은 117조2000억원으로 전분기 대비 4조6000억원 증가했다.주식위험 등 시장리스크가 1조9000억원 증가했고,연예인유출기초가정위험액 시행에 따라 운영리스크가 2조4000억원 늘었다.이에 비해 가용자본은 262조2000억원으로 전분기 대비 6000억원 불어나는데 그쳤다.

금감원 관계자는 "금융시장의 불확실성이 지속 증대되고 있는 만큼 취약 보험회사 중심으로 충분한 지급여력을 확보할 수 있도록 철저히 감독할 것"이라고 말했다.
