(서울=연합뉴스) 임성호 기자 = 인천발 일본 오사카행 티웨이항공 여객기가 기체 이상으로 약 11시간 지연돼 승객들이 불편을 겪었다.

14일 티웨이항공에 따르면 전날 낮 12시 5분 인천국제공항에서 출발해 오사카 간사이 공항으로 향할 예정이었던 TW283편이 이륙 준비 과정에서 기체 결함이 발견돼 출발이 오후 11시 4분으로 늦춰졌다.

대기가 길어지면서 이 항공편을 이용하려던 승객 310명 중 204명은 결국 탑승을 포기했다.

티웨이항공은 탑승을 포기한 승객에게 왕복 항공권 전액을 환불하고,촬영 배경지오사카에 도착한 승객 106명에게는 10만원의 교통비를 지급했다.

지연 여파로 같은 항공기를 쓰는 오사카발 인천행 TW284편도 11시간가량 지연된 이날 오전 2시 30분께 출발했다.이 항공편에서는 322명 중 4명이 탑승을 포기한 것으로 전해졌다.

전날에는 티웨이항공 태국 방콕발 청주행 TW184편이 기체 결함으로 약 18시간 지연된 바 있다.
