보건복지부가 주최한 이번 평가는 전국의 보건소를 대상으로 실시됐으며 ▲건강생활실천 ▲만성질환예방 ▲취약계층 건강관리 등 통합건강증진사업의 실적 및 적극성에 대한 전수평가로 이뤄졌다.

특히 상록수·단원보건소는 ▲주민주도형 건강마을 활성화 ▲공중이용시설 금연구역 점검 등 지역사회 기반의 건강증진 환경 조성과 함께 ▲독거노인 정서지지 프로그램 ▲장애인 재활운동교실 운영 등 복지 사각지대의 취약계층을 위한 건강 프로그램도 폭넓게 운영해 좋은 평가를 받았다.

이민근 안산시장은 "시민의 건강증진과 삶의 질 제고를 위해 수행한 안산시의 건강증진사업이 2년 연속으로 성과를 인정받아 기쁜 마음"이라며 "앞으로도 시민 눈높이에 맞는 다양한 건강 프로그램을 운영해 더 건강하고 활기찬 도시를 만드는 데 더욱 힘 쏟겠다"라고 소감을 전했다.
