네이버웹툰의 모회사,웹툰엔터테인먼트가 오늘(28일) 뉴욕 나스닥에 상장했습니다.

상장식에 참석한 이해진 네이버 창업자는 "아들아 나보다 성공한 삶을 살아라"고 말하기도 했습니다.

김 대표는 '아시아의 디즈니'란 목표가 절반까지 왔다고도 했습니다.

네이버웹툰은 상장 첫날 공모가보다 10% 가까이 오르며 23달러에 거래를 마쳤습니다.

시가총액은 우리 돈 4조1000억원,확보한 자금으론 북미 웹툰 플랫폼을 더 확장할 계획입니다.

20년 전 첫 서비스를 시작한 네이버웹툰은 2014년 영어권에 진출하는 등 급격한 성장세를 이어왔습니다.

전 세계 이용자 수만 1억7천만명에 달합니다.

다만 네이버 주가에 어떤 영향을 미칠지에 대해선 의견이 엇갈렸습니다.

증권가에선 "네이버 글로벌 사업이 다시 부각될 수 있다"는 전망과 "기업 가치 중복으로 네이버 주가엔 부정적"이라는 전망이 동시에 나왔습니다.

계속 적자를 내는 콘텐츠 부문의 수익성 개선도 과제로 떠오른 가운데,사계절 포토클럽네이버 주가는 오늘 0.9% 올랐습니다.
