광주시와 광주정보문화산업진흥원은 내년 1월 7~10일 미국 라스베이거스에서 열리는 '국제전자제품박람회'에 참가할 기업을 17일부터 30일까지 모집한다고 16일 밝혔다.

국제전자제품박람회는 전자·정보통신기술(ICT) 융합 전시회로 최신기술과 미래산업의 흐름을 한 눈에 볼 수 있는 세계 최대 규모이다.

광주시는 내년 박람회에는 광주관 1개관,통합한국관 내 1개관 등 총 2개 공간을 확보해 지역 기업을 홍보할 계획이다.

참가 기업은 문화산업 분야까지 확대해 인공지능(AI) 분야 7개사,중국로또일요일신산업·혁신기술·실감콘텐츠 분야 8개사 등 총 15개사이다.

광주시는 전시부스비,중국로또일요일항공료,중국로또일요일물류비,통역비 등을 지원한다.

또 참가기업에는 'CES 혁신상'(Innovation Awards) 지원 자문,해외전시 역량강화,중국로또일요일마케팅 실무교육 등 프로그램을 지원한다.

주재희 경제창업국장은 "국제전자제품박람회는 기술과 실력을 갖춘 기업들에게는 세계 시장 진출의 새로운 기회이다"며 "광주시는 지역의 기업들이 세계무대에 진출 할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.

한편 광주시는 올해 1월 열린 박람회에 13개 기업과 함께 참가했으며 이 중 6개사가 혁신상을 수상했다.또 전시기간 광주 홍보관에 5400여명이 방문,해외 바이어를 대상으로 541건,4000만 달러 수출상담 등의 성과를 거뒀다.
