전북 부안 주민들은 여전히 놀란 가슴을 진정시키지 못하고 있습니다.

심리 안정을 위한 상담도 지원되고 있지만 큰 규모의 여진이 또 오진 않을까 마음을 놓을 수 없습니다.

4.8 규모의 지진으로 곳곳이 부서지고 깨진 전북 부안의 한 마을.

주민들은 "앞으로 2,축구 로테이션3일은 추가 지진이 발생할 수 있다"는 안내에 불안합니다.

[최영순/지진 피해 주민]
"우리 동네는 기왓장도 떨어지고.약간 멍하고.나는 그때 집에 없었어.어디 가있는데 몸이 흔들려서 불안스럽지."

규모 4 이상의 지진을 처음 겪은 주민들의 심리 안정을 위해 상담 천막도 세워졌습니다.

[상담사-지진 피해 주민]
"이렇게 오셔서 말씀을 하시니까 마음이 놓이지.상시 불안해.<상담을 받으니깐 좀 마음이 편해졌는데,축구 로테이션어제보단 오늘이 낫다?> 네."

4.8 규모의 지진 이후 지금까지 발생한 여진은 17차례.

어제 오후 5시 52분 이후 지진은 소강상태에 접어들었지만 기상청은 최대 한 달까지 여진에 대비해야 한다고 설명했습니다.

[박순천/기상청 지진화산연구과장]
"한반도에서 발생한 지진 중에서 규모 4~5 사이의 지진을 살펴보면 사례에 따라서는 수개월 여진이 이어졌습니다."

지진 전문가들은 추가 지진에 대비해 노후 건축물 등에 대해 내진 설비 등 대책을 마련해야 한다고 지적합니다.

[오창환/전북대학교 명예교수]
"역사 지진을 보면 (규모) 5 이상,축구 로테이션포항 정도 지진이 일어날 가능성은 충분히 있는데요.지진의 안전지대라고 생각하고 있다가 보면 피해를 크게 받을 수 있는 거죠."

정부는 규모가 큰 여진의 발생에 신속하게 대응할 수 있도록 관계부처와 지자체의 협조 체계를 구축하는 등 총력 대응하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.
