SK텔레콤은 1일 채팅플러스 PC 버전에 인공지능(AI) 기반의 'AI 태그' 기능이 추가됐다고 밝혔다.메시지를 유형별로 쉽게 구분하는 태깅 기능이 제공되는 것.

채팅플러스 PC 버전은 지난해 12월 출시됐다.PC 버전은 '메시지 읽음' 확인,연금복권 720 큐알코드보내기 취소 등의 문자 기능을 PC 환경에서 그대로 이용할 수 있는 서비스다.PC 버전 서비스 이용량은 일 평균 메시지 발송 건수 기준으로 출시 초기보다 약 30% 증가했다는 설명이다.

이번에 추가된 'AI 태그' 기능은 SK텔레콤이 개발한 AI 엔진을 활용해 메시지별 내용을 판별한 다음 자동으로 하단에 태그를 달아준다.예컨태 도박·스팸·사칭 등 유해 메시지 하단엔 빨간색 태그가 달리고 포인트 소멸이나 예약 알림 등 정보·혜택성 메시지 아래엔 파란색 태그가 붙는다.색상뿐 아니라 '스팸 의심','혜택 안내' 등의 안내 문구도 함께 표시된다.

같은 유형의 태그 메시지별로 한번에 확인하거나 일괄 삭제하는 것도 가능하다.

SK텔레콤은 수신메시지 맥락과 내용에 따라 신속하게 유형을 분류해주는 전용 AI 모델을 개발해 'AI 태그' 기능에 적용했다.앞으로 AI 모델 성능을 업그레이드해 정확도를 높이고 분류 가능한 메시지 유형을 확대하겠다는 계획이다.
