안랩이 사내 클라우드 서비스 사업조직과 클라우드 네이티브 자회사 클라우드메이트를 합쳐 통합법인 '안랩클라우드메이트'를 출범했다고 1일 밝혔다.

조직통합은 안랩이 자사 MSP(클라우드관리서비스)를 비롯한 클라우드 서비스 관련 사업을 클라우드메이트에 이관(영업양수도)하는 방식으로 이뤄졌다.안랩클라우드메이트의 신임대표는 김형준 전 안랩 서비스사업부문장과 고창규 전 클라우드메이트 대표가 공동으로 맡는다.

안랩클라우드메이트 김형준 대표는 "이번 통합은 안랩의 보안강화 MSP 역량과 클라우드메이트의 클라우드 네이티브 전문성이 더해져 시너지를 낸다는데 의미가 있다"고 설명했다.고창규 대표는 "최근 서비스 적시성과 생성형 AI(인공지능)가 부각되며,클라우드 네이티브에 기반한 기민한 대응과 정보보호 모두가 중요해졌다"며 "더 많은 고객이 안전한 클라우드를 클라우드답게 활용할 수 있도록 지원할 것"이라고 덧붙였다.

안랩은 지난 4월 클라우드메이트의 지분 95.71%를 인수했다.
