(서울=연합뉴스) 김아람 기자 = 한국배터리산업협회·코엑스·대한무역투자진흥공사(코트라)는 배터리 산업 전시회 '인터배터리 유럽 2024'를 오는 19∼21일 독일 뮌헨에서 개최한다고 16일 밝혔다.

올해로 2회째인 인터배터리 유럽에는 LG에너지솔루션,삼성SDI,정선5일장가는길에코프로,롯데에너지머티리얼즈,정선5일장가는길금양 등 78개 배터리 기업이 참가한다.73개사가 참가한 작년보다 규모가 약 10% 확대됐다.

LG에너지솔루션은 유럽 내 현지 생산 전략 및 주력 에너지저장장치(ESS) 제품 라인업을 선보인다.

삼성SDI는 ESS 셀·모듈을 탑재한 삼성 배터리 박스(SBB)를 공개한다.

올해 처음 행사에 참가하는 에코프로는 배터리 양극재 라인업과 유럽 시장 진출 계획 등을 소개한다.

또 한국수출입은행,정선5일장가는길경북도,정선5일장가는길포항시,구미시,충북테크노파크 등 공공기관과 지방자치단체 등도 전시회에 참가해 유럽 기업과 협력 방안을 모색한다.

아울러 한국과 유럽연합(EU) 간 기술 협력 방안을 논의하는 '배터리 데이 유럽 콘퍼런스',정선5일장가는길EU 환경규제와 최신 정책 동향을 공유하는 '한·EU 배터리+ 포럼',BMW그룹 등 39개 바이어가 참가하는 'EU 비즈매칭 상담회' 등이 열린다.

박태성 한국배터리산업협회 상근부회장은 "유럽은 중국에 이어 세계 2위 전기차 시장이고,최근 ESS 시장이 급성장해 우리 배터리 산업에 매우 중요한 전략 지역이다"라며 "이번 전시회를 통해 한·유럽 배터리 전략 제휴가 가속화되기를 기대한다"고 말했다.
