LG전자가 차별화된 세탁 솔루션 'LG 트롬 워시타워·워시콤보' 체험 공간을 연다고 26일 밝혔다.

LG전자는 오는 27일부터 연말까지 서울 동대문구 경동시장 내 '금성전파사 새로고침센터'(금성전파사)에서 'AI 세탁건조 라이프로 완성하는 트롬하우스'를 주제로 한 체험 공간을 운영한다.

LG전자는 젊은층이 많이 찾는 '핫플레이스'인 경동시장에서 LG전자의 세탁건조 기술을 직접 체험하면서 소통할 수 있도록 체험 공간을 열게 됐다고 설명했다.

방문객들은 세탁실을 모티브로 한 공간에서 트롬 워시타워·워시콤보의 다양한 기능과 LG전자만의 독특한 세탁 성능을 경험할 수 있다.입구에는 올인원(일체형) 세탁건조기인 'LG 시그니처 세탁건조기'의 핵심 부품인 'AI DD모터'와 '인버터 히트펌프' 기술력을 전시하는 공간이 마련됐다.

'런드리룸'은 트롬 워시타워와 워시콤보의 편리함을 체험하는 공간이다.방문객은 워시타워에 빨랫감을 직접 넣으면서 딥러닝 AI(인공지능) 기술로 구현한 'AI 인공지능코스'가 어떻게 옷감의 재질,영천 경마 공원무게 및 오염도에 맞춰 세탁,영천 경마 공원건조를 제공하는지 알 수 있다.

올인원 세탁건조기는 최근 신혼부부 등 젊은 소비자들에게 인기를 끌고 있다.하단에 분리세탁이 가능한 '미니워시'를 추가 설치하면 드럼세탁기·건조기·미니워시를 한 번에 사용이 가능하다.지난해와 올해 LG전자 베스트샵에서 세탁기나 건조기를 구입한 고객의 70% 이상이 워시타워,영천 경마 공원워시콤보 등 복합형 세탁건조기를 구매할 정도다.
