전북 창업 생태계 혁신과 중소기업 지원 위해 맞손

전북자치도 혁신도시에 있는 국민연금공단(이사장 김태현)이 전북의 창업 생태계 혁신과 중소기업 지원을 위해 전북특별자치도-도의회-우리금융그룹과 지역상생·발전을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

18일 국민연금공단에 따르면 전날 전북특별자치도청에서 진행된 업무협약은 공단 이전지역인 전북특별자치도 출범 원년을 맞이해 4개 기관이 뜻을 모아 ESG 경영을 실천하고 지역발전을 위한 협력사업 발굴 및 실행을 위해 추진됐다.

4개 기관은 이번 협약에 따라 △전북자치도 소재 사회적경제기업 및 베트남 진출 창업기업 지원 △빅데이터를 활용한 국민연금증카드 리뉴얼 협업 및 스타트업 지원 △전북자치도민 대상 금융교육 실시 등 민·관·공 협력을 통해 지역상생·발전 기반을 조성할 계획이다.

공단은 빅데이터 분석을 통한 국민연금증카드 혜택 서비스 개선과 스타트업의 빅테이터 활용 등을 지원하고,월드컵 예측사회적경제기업의 판로개척에 앞장서는 등 적극적으로 공동사업에 참여할 예정이다.

이번 협약으로 민간성장 지원과 지역경제 활성화는 물론 국민 편익 증진에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

공단은 사회적 책임 이행을 기관 운영의 가치와 역할로 삼아 지역 소통 네트워크 구축,월드컵 예측지자체 및 전문기관과의 협업 등 지역문제 해결과 지역사회 발전을 위해 꾸준히 노력해 왔다.

이러한 노력을 인정받아 중소기업과의 동반성장 성과를 평가하는 중소벤처기업부 주관 '공공기관 동반성장 평가'에서 3년 연속‘최우수’등급을 달성한 바도 있다.

김태현 이사장은 "이번 업무협약을 충실히 이행하여 지역상생·발전을 위한 민·관·공 상호협력의 모범 사례가 될 수 있도록 노력할 것"이라며 "앞으로도 사회적 책임 등 ESG 경영을 선도하는 공공기관으로서 그 역할을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
