대한민국 대표 먹방 유튜버인 쯔양(본명 박정원)의 과거 행적을 폭로하지 않는 조건으로 돈을 갈취했다는 의혹을 받고 있는 유튜버 사건이 수원지검으로 이송될 예정이다.

수원지검 형사2부(부장검사 정현승)는 15일 "최근 언론에 보도된 유명 유튜버의 공갈 사건을 수사 중인 서울중앙지검 등 2곳의 검찰청에 사건을 우리 청으로 이송해달라고 요청했다"고 밝혔다.

앞서 유튜브 채널 가로세로연구소는 쯔양이 과거 술집에서 일했다는 사실을 악용해 다른 유튜버들이 협박한 내용을 폭로했다.

이후 쯔양이 직접 유튜브 방송을 통해 "전 남자친구의 지속적인 폭행과 협박에 시달리며 강제로 일을 해야 했다"고 밝히자 사이버 레커(사회적 관심이 쏠린 주제로 콘텐츠를 만들어 올리는 사람들을 이르는 표현) 유튜버들이 2차 가해를 한 것이라는 의혹이 제기됐다.

사이버 레커 중 한명으로 지목된 유튜버 구제역(본명 이준희)은 '쯔양 협박' 사건으로 최근 서울중앙지검에 고발돼 수사 받고 있는 상태다.

이미 유튜버 구제역에 대한 여러 건의 사건을 수사 중인 수원지검은 여러 검찰청에 흩어진 사건을 한 곳에 모아 처리하겠다는 취지에서 사건 이송을 요청한 것으로 예측된다.

수원지검은 "이 유튜버의 정보통신망법 위반(명예훼손) 등 5건을 수사 중"이라며 "실체를 밝혀 일괄적인 처분을 내릴 수 있도록 신속하고 엄정하게 수사를 진행하겠다"고 전했다.

한편,1109 회 로또유튜버 구제역은 이미 또 다른 명예훼손 등 사건들로 수원지법에 기소된 것으로 알려졌다.
