[안양=뉴시스] 박석희 기자 = 경기 안양시가 12일 '사회적 고립 청년 실태조사 및 지원 정책 연구용역'에 착수했다.사회참여 및 인간관계에 어려움을 겪고,벤 로슬리스버거사회와 단절한 채 생활하는 사회적 고립 청년 문제에 시가 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 기획했다.

이날 시청에서 열린 착수보고회는 사회적 고립 청년의 실태조사 방법,벤 로슬리스버거사회적 고립 예방 및 회복지원 등 사회안전망 구축을 위한 단계별 지원 전략이 제시된 가운데 전문가와 청년의 다양한 의견을 수렴했다.

이와 함께 사회복지 교수와 청년단체,벤 로슬리스버거청년 고립 1인 가구 전문가,공무원 등으로 '민관합동 자문위원회'를 구성했다.앞서 안양시는 지난해 10월 '안양시 사회적 고립 청년 지원 조례'를 제정했다.

안양시는 4개월간의 연구용역을 바탕으로 관내 사회적 고립 청년의 현황 및 생활 실태,정책 수요 등을 자세히 분석해 실효성 있는 지원 정책 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용한다는 방침이다.

최대호 시장은 “이번 용역을 통해 사회적 고립에 처한 청년이 사회에 참여할 수 있도록 하는 실질적인 방안이 제시되기를 기대한다"며 "어려움에 부닥친 청년들을 세심하게 살피겠다”고 강조했다.

한편 안양시의 지난해 말 기준 청년(19~39세) 인구는 전체 인구의 27.9%인 15만1664명에 이른다.
