월드컵 9회연속 진출 - 2024년 실시간 업데이트

[앵커]

정부가 정한 미복귀 전공의 사직 처리 시한인 어제까지도 전공의 대다수는 무응답으로 일관하고 있습니다.

주요 수련병원은 응답하지 않는 전공의를 일괄 사직 처리하겠다는 방침을 정한 거로 알려졌습니다.

홍진아 기자가 보도합니다.

[리포트]

수도권 한 수련병원에서 미복귀 전공의들에게 보낸 메일입니다.

어제 낮까지 사직 또는 복귀 여부를 알려달라고 적혀있습니다.

사직 처리 시점은 정부가 정한 6월,'응답이 없을 경우 사직 처리할 수 있다'고도 명시했습니다.

미복귀 전공의 만 2천여 명 중 소속 병원의 공지에 응답한 인원은 극소수로 전해졌습니다.

한 전공의는 "정부 방침을 따르지 않기로 했다며,월드컵 9회연속 진출하반기 모집에도 지원하지 않겠다"고 말했습니다.

또 다른 전공의도 "복귀하지 않을 것"이라면서도,"인기과 4년 차는 일부 복귀한 것으로 안다"고 전했습니다.

의료계는 전공의 일괄 사직 처리는 사태를 더 악화시킬 것이라고 우려했습니다.

수련병원들은 정부가 제시한대로 내일까지 전공의 결원을 확정해 하반기 모집 인원을 신청하기로 했습니다.

정부는 각 병원이 제출할 사직 처리 결과를 기다린다는 입장입니다.

병원별 자료를 취합한 뒤에는 미복귀 전공의 사직 처리를 끝내지 못한 병원에 대해 전공의 정원 감축도 검토할 방침입니다.
