한 손님이 택시를 탄 뒤 무려 7시간동안 '뺑뺑이'를 시키고는 요금을 내지 않고 도주하는 일이 있었다.

지난 8일 JTBC '사건반장'에 따르면 30년간 택시기사로 일한 제보자 A씨는 지난 3일 강원 남춘천역 인근에서 50대 남성 B씨를 차에 태웠다.

목발을 짚고 있던 B씨는A씨에게 탑승 장소에서 10여분 떨어진 한림대 성심병원 주변 먹자골목으로 가달라고 요청했다.

그런데 골목에 도착한 B씨는 잠시 뒤 다시 타서는 "급히 필요한 물건을 사야 한다"며 "춘천-원주 왕복 비용으로 20만원을 주겠다"고 제안했다.

이에 A씨는1시간가량을 달려 원주에 도착했다.그러나 B씨는 "물건이 원주에 없다"며 이번엔 경기 성남으로 가달라고 부탁했다.

A씨는 170km를 달려 성남에 도착했다.그런데 B씨는 갑자기 "물건을 살 돈이 부족하다"며 현금 75만원을 빌려달라고 했다.A씨가 거절하자 B씨는 "아까 준 택시비 20만원에 5만원만 더해서 빌려달라"고 했다.

B씨의 끈질긴 부탁에 A씨는 결국 택시비에 지갑에 있던 5만원을 더해 25만원을 빌려줬다.B씨는 "춘천으로 돌아가는 택시비를 포함해 50만원을 갚겠다"며 성남의 한 건물로 들어갔다.

그러나 B씨는 건물로 들어간 후 다시 나오지 않았다.B씨가 알려준 전화번호로 전화도 걸었지만,162연락이 닿지 않았다.B씨가 들어간 건물 내부를 살펴보니 이미 B씨는 후문으로 빠져나간 듯 보였고,162A씨는 그제야 경찰에 신고했다.

A씨에 따르면 B씨는 택시 안에서 자신의 전화번호와 주소도 공유했고,162아내와 자식 이야기 등 사적인 이야기를 했다.또 B씨가 가방에 있던 200만원가량의 현금 뭉치도 보여줘서 별다른 의심을 하지 않았다.

A씨는 "하루 동안 7시간,162무려 300㎞를 달렸는데 사기를 당했다.허탈함과 배신감,162상실감에 춘천으로 오는 길이 너무나 힘들었다"며 "30년간 택시를 하며 먹튀를 많이 당했지만 이런 일은 또 처음"이라고 토로했다.

이어 "또 다른 피해자가 나오지 않길 바라는 마음"이라며 "택시 내부 블랙박스에 범인 얼굴과 대화 내용이 고스란히 남아있어 경찰 신고 후 사건 배당을 기다리는 중"이라고 전했다.
