(서울=연합뉴스) 김윤구 기자 = 농림축산식품부와 농촌진흥청은 지난 11일 기준 과수화상병 발생 면적이 66㏊로 지난해의 77% 수준이라고 14일 밝혔다.

이는 과수화상병이 가장 극심했던 2020년의 22% 수준이다.

과수화상병은 사과·배 등의 나무가 불에 타서 화상을 입은 것처럼 말라 죽는 식물 세균병으로,프라마그틱 무료슬롯6월에 집중적으로 발생하고 7월부터 줄어드는 경향을 보인다.

그동안 정부는 과수화상병을 예방하기 위해 겨울철 화상병균이 월동하는 나무의 궤양(나무줄기나 굵은 가지가 움푹 들어가거나 갈라진 것)을 제거하고 약제를 살포하도록 조치했다.

특히 올해는 지난 5월 말부터 과수화상병 위기 단계를 '주의'에서 '경계'로 상향하고 지방자치단체까지 참여하는 상황실을 운영하는 등 대응을 강화했다.

최 정책관은 "과수화상병은 이달 말 이후 발생이 잦아들 것으로 예상되나 추가 전염 예방을 위해 농장 외부인 출입 관리,프라마그틱 무료슬롯작업 도구 소독,프라마그틱 무료슬롯과수화상병 발생 과수원 주변 출입 제한 등 예방수칙을 철저히 준수하고 의심 증상을 발견하면 농업기술센터로 즉시 연락해달라"고 당부했다.
