부경대는 인사혁신처가 시행하는 이번 시험에 행정직군 구윤정(경영학부)·이은빈(해양수산경영학부),첼시 울버햄튼과학기술직군 신동욱(나노융합공학과)·이성현(컴퓨터공학전공)·최윤희(전기공학전공)씨 등 5명이 올해 최종 합격했다.

지역인재 7급 수습직원 선발시험은 공직의 지역 대표성을 강화하고 충원경로를 다양화하기 위해 2005년 도입됐다.학과 성적 상위 10% 이내 졸업(예정)자를 추천받아 필기시험,첼시 울버햄튼서류전형,첼시 울버햄튼면접시험을 거쳐 선발한다.

올해 시험에는 전국에서 행정직군 108명,과학기술직군 64명 등 총 172명이 합격했다.부경대생 등 합격자들은 내년 상반기 중 기본교육을 이수한 뒤 중앙행정기관에서 1년간 수습 근무 후 7급 공무원으로 임용될 예정이다.

부경대는 지역인재 7급 수습직원 선발시험을 대비해 체계적인 지원프로그램을 운영한 결과 지금까지 68명의 누적 합격자를 배출했다.

한편 부경대는 지난 4일 시험 제도를 안내하는 학내 설명회를 개최했으며,올 12월에는 내년 추천 대상자를 선발할 계획이다.
