지난달부터 폭우가 내리고 있는 중국 후난성에서 호수 제방이 무너져 인근 주민 6000여명이 긴급 대피했다.

6일 관영 신화통신에 따르면 중국에서 두 번째로 큰 담수호인 후난성 웨양시 둥팅호(동정호) 제방 일부가 예년보다 많은 비로 무너졌다.

둥팅호는 전날 오후부터 누수 위험을 보이다 오후 5시 48분께 약 10m 길이 제방이 무너졌다.무너진 제방 길이는 같은 날 오후 11시께 150ｍ로 확대됐다.

중앙아시아 타지키스탄을 국빈 방문 중인 시진핑 국가주석은 사고 소식에 "일부 지역 강수량이 많고 비 내리는 기간도 길어 상황이 심각하다"며 주민 생명과 재산 보호에 만전을 다해야 한다고 지시했다.

이에 당국은 인근 주민 5755명을 긴급 대피시켰다.구조대원 2100여명과 배 160척을 동원해 응급 복구공사에도 나섰다.범람을 저지하기 위해 차량 18대를 무너진 제방 쪽에 빠트렸고 1만t에 육박하는 모래와 자갈,카지노 이규형쌀 1320t 등도 투입했다.
