KBS와 EBS 이사회,프로야구 스피리츠 2010MBC 대주주인 방송문화진흥회의 야권성향 이사들이 방송통신위원회의 공영방송 이사 선임 절차를 중단하고 이진숙 방통위원장 후보자 지명을 철회하라고 촉구했습니다.

방문진 권태선 이사장,프로야구 스피리츠 2010EBS 유시춘 이사장을 포함한 야권성향 이사 14명은 오늘(5일) MBC 앞에서 기자회견을 열고 윤석열 정부가 방통위에 국회 추천 위원을 임명하지 않고 대통령이 추천한 2명만으로 중요한 결정들을 강행하고 있다면서 방통위가 2인 체제에서 의결한 공영방송 이사 선임 계획은 무효라고 주장했습니다.

이어 공영방송 해체를 시도하고 후배들을 부당하게 징계하는 데 앞장섰던 이진숙 후보자를 방통위원장에 지명한 것을 즉각 철회하라고 강조했습니다.

앞서 김홍일 전 방통위원장은 자신에 대한 탄핵소추안이 국회 본회의에 보고되기 직전 자진 사퇴하면서 지난달 28일 이상인 부위원장과 방문진 등 새로운 공영방송 이사진 선임 계획안을 의결했습니다.
