검찰이 김정숙 여사 '샤넬 재킷' 의혹과 관련해 당시 샤넬 본사에서 근무하던 한국인 디자이너를 소환하기로 했습니다.김 여사가 2018년 입은 한글 재킷과 비슷한 옷을 왜 3년이 지나서야 기증하겠다고 이 디자이너가 우리 정부에 연락을 한 건지 배경을 따지겠다는 겁니다.

김정숙 여사가 2018년 10월 프랑스 국빈방문 당시 입었던 샤넬 한글재킷은 정치권에 논란을 불러왔습니다.

청와대는 샤넬이 빌려준 옷이라고 해명했지만,프로야구 도루 1위고발을 접수한 검찰이 수사 중입니다

"다시 그걸 샤넬에 돌려 줬더니 '한글로 디자인되어 의미가 크니 한국에 기증하겠다'라고 해서 한국에 기증을 했고…."

검찰은 2021년 기증할 당시 관여한 샤넬 본사 한국인 디자이너 A씨를 소환조사하기로 했습니다.

당시 주프랑스한국문화원에 논란의 재킷 기증 의사를 통보한 인물입니다.

주프랑스 한국문화원 관계자는 최근 검찰에 "A씨가 '샤넬 본사 뜻'에 따라 기증하겠다고 먼저 연락이 왔었다"며 "내가 한글박물관 기증을 제안했다"고 진술했습니다.

검찰이 의심하는 건 김 여사 방문 3년이 지난 2021년에야 기증 의사를 밝힌 배경입니다.

샤넬의 자발적 기증인지,프로야구 도루 1위당시 청와대가 기증에 관여한건지를 규명하겠다는 겁니다.

검찰은 비슷한 시기 샤넬 측이 청와대와도 소통한 것으로 파악했습니다.

검찰은 A씨를 소환조사한 뒤 윗선으로 수사를 확대할 계획입니다.
