11일 기아에 따르면 EV3에는 재활용 플라스틱 부품이 대거 탑재됐다.재활용 플라스틱 부품 중량만 총 28.5㎏에 달할 정도다.

기아 최초로 외장 플라스틱 몰딩 부품 전체에 재활용 플라스틱이 적용된 것이 특징이다.언더 커버,gta 온라인 치트 엔진휠 가드 등 일부 부품에만 재활용 플라스틱을 적용한 기존 방식보다 친환경 부품 비중을 대폭 확대했다.
