백악관 비밀경호국도 총격 직후 현장에 있던 요원들이 트럼프 전 대통령을 무대 밖으로 급히 내려보냈다면서 "트럼프 전 대통령은 안전하다"고 말했다.

이날 오후 트럼프 전 대통령이 펜실베이니아주에서 유세를 벌이던 중 유세장 주변에서 여러 발의 총격이 발생했다.
