검찰이 문재인 전 대통령의 부인 김정숙 여사의 인도 방문 의혹과 관련해 고발인 조사를 진행했습니다.

서울중앙지검은 오늘(19일) 오전 김 여사를 직권남용,스포츠도박의 문제점국고손실죄 등 혐의로 고발한 국민의힘 이종배 서울시의원을 불러 조사했습니다.

이 시의원은 조사에 앞서 "인도 모디 총리가 초청했다고 하는데 아무런 증거 제시를 못 했다"며 "'영부인의 첫 단독 외교'였다는 김 여사 측의 입장은 말장난"이라고 주장했습니다.

검찰은 최근 서울중앙지검 형사1부에 배당돼 있던 김정숙 여사 관련 사건을 모두 형사2부로 재배당하고 검사 1명을 추가 투입하며 수사에 속도를 내고 있습니다.
