경북 경산에서 폭우로 불어난 하천에 휩쓸린 40대 여성 택배원(7월 10일자 7면 보도)에 대해 이틀 째 수색작업이 이어졌으나 소하천의 흙탕물 등으로 인해 난항을 겪고 있다.

10일 경산소방서와 경산경찰서 등은 실종자 수색 이틀째인 이날 오전 7시부터 소방 구조대원과 경찰 등 210여 명이 보트와 수중 수색장비 등을 총동원,실종 지점으로부터 하류 3㎞까지 하천 수색을 이어갔다.

이날 경찰 헬기 1대와 드론 2대,전자식 룰렛중앙119구조단의 수난탐지견과 인명구조견 6두,전자식 룰렛경북경찰청 수색탐지견 2두 등이 동원돼 수중 수색을 실시했다.

현장 지휘소의 이현우 경산소방서 팀장은 "하천 폭이 넓은 곳은 4~5m나 되는 데다 수초가 많고,현재 육안 수색만 가능한데 흙탕물이 계속 흘러 물 속을 잘 살필 수 없어 실종자를 찾는데 어려움이 크다"고 말했다.

한편,전자식 룰렛지난 9일 오전 5시 12분쯤 경북 경산시 진량읍 평사리 부기천에서 택배원 A(40) 씨가 실종됐다.경찰 등에 따르면 A씨는 자신의 승용차로 택배를 배송하던 중 불어난 물에 차가 잠기자 이를 확인하다가 급류에 휩쓸린 것으로 파악됐다.
