광주 서부경찰서는 28일 도로교통법 위반 혐의로 전남 영암소방서 소속 A 소방교를 불구속 입건했다.

A 소방교는 지난 20일 오후 11시께 광주 서구 유촌동 한 도로에서 술을 마시고 차량을 운전한 혐의를 받는다.

그는 혈중알코올농도가 면허 취소 수치인 0.08％ 이상 상태로 운전하다가 경찰 음주 단속에 적발됐다.

지난 26일에는 광주 동부소방서 소속 50대 소방관이 음주운전을 한 혐의로 경찰 조사를 받고 있다.

광주 서구 광천사거리 인근 도로에서 음주 단속을 하던 경찰에 적발된 그의 혈중알코올농도는 면허정지 수치였다.

광주소방본부·전남소방본부는 경찰로부터 기관 통보를 받으면 경찰 수사와 별개로 정확한 경위를 조사해 이들을 징계할 예정이다.
