충북 청주에서 승용차가 상가로 돌진하는 사고가 발생해 1명이 숨지고 2명이 다쳤습니다.

청주동부소방서 등에 따르면 어제(12일) 오후 7시 56분쯤 청주시 상당구 금천동에서 20대 남성 운전자가 몰던 승용차가 건물 상가로 돌진하는 사고가 났습니다.

이 사고로 상가에 있던 50대 여성 종웝원이 심정지 상태로 병원으로 옮겨졌으나 숨졌습니다.

또 당시 인도 위에 있던 10대 보행자 1명과 운전자가 경상을 입고 병원에 이송됐습니다.

운전자는 경찰에 "무단횡단을 하던 보행자를 피하려다 사고를 냈다"는 취지로 진술한 것으로 전해졌습니다.사고 당시 음주 상태는 아닌 것으로 알려졌습니다.

경찰은 차량 블랙박스와 인근 폐쇄회로(CC)TV 등을 분석해 A씨의 신호위반과 과속 여부 등 정확한 사고 경위를 조사할 예정입니다.
