[서울=뉴시스]송연주 기자 = HLB그룹은 AI 신약개발 기업 아론티어에 50억원 규모의 투자를 단행한다고 2일 밝혔다.

HLB그룹의 신약 개발 파이프라인에 AI 플랫폼 기술을 접목해 바이오 사업의 속도와 성공률을 높이기 위한 결정이라고 설명했다.

HLB파나진은 40억원 규모의 아론티어 신주 47만4664주를 인수해 총 10%의 지분을 확보할 예정이다.별도로 HLB인베스트먼트도 자체 운영 중인 'HLBI 알밤 제1호 투자조합'을 통해 10억원을 투자,위민스 챔피언십우승자11만8666주 상당인 2.5%의 지분을 인수하기로 했다.

HLB그룹은 "총 12.5%의 아론티어 지분을 확보해 주요주주로 등극하면서 HLB그룹의 핵심 성장 축인 진단,위민스 챔피언십우승자치료영역에 있어 AI 플랫폼을 활용할 수 있는 기반을 다지게 됐다"고 했다.
