정보통신산업진흥원-건양대,AI·SW융합대학 업무협약 체결정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA,슬롯 데모게임원장 허성욱)은 건양대(총장 김용하)와 13일 건양대 메디컬캠퍼스 죽헌정보관에서 공개SW 활용과 전문 교육 활성화를 위한 업무 협약을 체결했다.

과학기술정보통신부 산하 NIPA는 소프트웨어(SW)를 포함한 정보통신산업 진흥을 위해 공개SW 적용‧확산을 비롯한 다양한 사업을 지원하고 있다.

이번 업무협약을 통해 NIPA와 건양대는 △공개SW 활용·확산 등 활성화 협력 △공개SW 전문교육을 통한 공개 SW 개발자 양성 △공개SW 관련 정보기술 협력 등을 골자로 상호 협력하기로 했다.

이날 협약식에는 NIPA SW미래본부 이경록 본부장,슬롯 데모게임건양대 AI·SW융합대학 김용석 학장,슬롯 데모게임건양대 SW통합교육원 백종섭 원장,SW교육센터장 김준화 교수 등이 참석했다.

이경록 NIPA SW미래본부장은 “건양대와 협약을 통해 우수한 인재를 조기에 발굴하고‘오픈소스 컨트리뷰션 아카데미’등 맞춤형 교육프로그램을 통해 미래 핵심 공개SW 인재를 양성하는데 적극적으로 협력할 수 있게 돼 매우 기쁘다”며 “학생들이 해당 프로그램에 전념할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

NIPA는 오픈소스 생태계 활성화와 참여 촉진을 위해‘오픈소스 컨트리뷰션 아카데미’를 운영 중이다.이번 아카데미는 국내 오픈소스 개발자 멘토링을 통한 예비 오픈소스 개발자 양성을 위해 수준별·단계별(입문형,슬롯 데모게임체험형,참여형) 오픈소스 프로젝트 체험·참여 과정으로 구성돼 있다.
