이 서비스는 18세 이상 65세 미만의 지적·자폐성 장애인 중 장애 정도가 심하고 자해나 타해 등으로 기존 서비스를 이용하기 어려운 최중증 발달장애인을 대상으로 한다.

개별 1:1 지원 사업으로 대상자 선정 시 주중 낮에 산책,전국대학 야구음악,전국대학 야구체육 등 원하는 활동을 할 수 있다.

상주시장애인종합복지관은 지역 최중증 발달장애인을 위해 맞춤형 통합돌봄서비스를 제공할 예정이다.

강영석 상주시장은 "최중증 발달장애인 통합돌봄서비스 지정으로 장애인은 물론 가족들의 행복과 건강한 삶에 보탬이 되기를 바란다"고 말했다.

이어 "앞으로도 장애인복지 관련 다양한 사업을 추진해 장애인 권리가 보장받을 수 있는 따뜻한 상주를 만들어 갈 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 했다.
