쌍방울 그룹의 대북송금 사건을 수사 중인 검찰이 더불어민주당 이재명 대표를 기소했습니다.

검찰이 적용한 혐의는 제3자 뇌물과 남북교류협력법 위반 등입니다.

이예린 기자가 보도합니다.

검찰이 쌍방울 대북 송금 사건과 관련해 더불어민주당 이재명 대표를 불구속 기소했습니다.

지난해 9월 대북 송금 사건에 대한 이 대표의 구속영장이 서울중앙지법에서 기각된 지 9개월 만입니다.

수원지검 형사6부는 이 대표에게 제3자 뇌물수수와 외국환거래법,우리은행 공인인증센터남북교류협력법 위반 등 혐의를 적용했습니다.

검찰은 이 대표가 이화영 전 경기도 평화부지사와 공모해,우리은행 공인인증센터2019년 1월부터 3개월 동안 김성태 전 쌍방울 그룹 회장에게 북한에 지급하기로 한 '스마트팜' 사업비 5백만 달러를 대납하게 한 거로 보고 있습니다.

또 2019년 7월부터 6개월 동안 북한 측에서 요구한 도지사 방북 의전 비용 명목의 3백만 달러를 대납하게 한 혐의도 받습니다.

이 대가로 김성태 전 회장에게 쌍방울 그룹의 대북사업에 대한 경기도의 지원과 보증을 약속한 거로 검찰은 보고 있습니다.

오늘 기소로 이 대표는 대장동 사건과 공직선거법 위반,위증교사 사건 등을 포함해 4개 재판을 동시에 받게 됐습니다.

앞서 대북 송금 혐의로 재판을 받아 온 이화영 전 부지사는 지난 7일 징역 9년 6개월을 선고받았습니다.

검찰은 오늘 이 전 부지사와 김 전 회장도 각각 뇌물과 뇌물공여 혐의 등으로 추가 기소했습니다.
