서울라면은 서울시 도시브랜드 'Seoul,팀 정하기 룰렛my soul'을 전 세계에 알리기 위해 서울시와 풀무원이 개발한 상품이다.국물라면 및 짜장라면 총 2종이며,팀 정하기 룰렛튀기지 않아 칼로리가 각 360㎉로 일반 라면 칼로리보다 적다.

지난 2월 성수에서 열린 서울 굿즈 팝업스토어에서 시식과 판매를 위해 준비된 5300봉이 나흘 만에 전량 소진될 만큼 인기를 끌었다.

11번가,쿠팡 등 온라인 판매를 시작해 3월부터는 전국 이마트,팀 정하기 룰렛롯데마트,홈플러스 등 오프라인까지 판매를 확장해 5개월 만에 판매량 약 100만봉을 돌파했다.

해외에서도 수출문의가 잇따라 풀무원에서는 미주,팀 정하기 룰렛중동 등 전 세계에 판매할 수 있도록 해외 수출용 서울라면을 개발 중에 있다.7월에는 미국에서,팀 정하기 룰렛10월 이후에는 전 세계에서 서울라면을 만날 수 있다.

또 다음달 서울라면,서울짜장 구매자를 대상으로 추첨을 통해 '서울의 달' 탑승권 등 상품을 주는 이벤트도 진행할 예정이다.

10월에 서울라면을 보다 간편하게 즐길 수 있도록 컵라면 형태로도 출시할 예정이다.이는 풀무원 최초의 용기라면이다.

마채숙 서울시 홍보기획관은 "서울라면에 대한 시민 호응이 예상보다 뜨거워 놀랐다"며 "앞으로 신제품과 다양한 이벤트도 추진될 예정이니 많은 관심을 부탁드린다"고 말했다.
