한 유튜브 채널이 2004년 '밀양 여중생 집단 성폭행' 사건 가해자들의 신상정보를 연달아 폭로하는 가운데 피해자 지원단체가 "피해자와 가족은 가해자 공개에 동의한 적 없다"는 입장을 밝혔다.

밀양 성폭행 사건 피해자 지원단체 중 하나인 한국성폭력상담소는 5일 낸 보도자료에서 "피해자 측은 (유튜브 채널) '나락 보관소'가 밀양 집단 성폭력 사건에 대한 첫 영상을 게시하기 전까지 해당 사실을 전혀 모르고 있었고 사전 동의를 질문받은 바도 없다"고 했다.

나락 보관소가 이날 "피해자 가족 측과 메일로 대화 나눴고 (가해자) 44명 모두 공개하는 쪽으로 결론이 난 상태"라는 공지를 올린 데 대한 반응이다.

한국성폭력상담소는 이에 대해 "사실과 다르다.피해자 측은 영상이 업로드된 후 6월 3일 영상 삭제 요청을 했고 44명 모두 공개하는 방향에 동의한 바 없다"고 반박했다.

이어 해당 공지에 대해 삭제·수정을 재차 요청했다면서 "피해자의 일상 회복,파리 밀란피해자의 의사 존중과 거리가 먼 일방적 영상 업로드와 조회수 경주에 당황스러움과 우려를 표한다"고 전했다.

이 유튜브 채널은 현재 공지에서 피해자 가족 측과 대화를 통해 가해자 신상을 공개하기로 했다는 내용은 삭제한 상태다.하지만 여전히 "'피해자에게 허락을 구했냐'라고 질문하는 분들이 많다.결론부터 말씀드리면 맞다"고 주장하고 있다.
