(목포=연합뉴스) 조근영 기자 = 목포해양경찰서는 여름철 물놀이 성수기를 맞아 '구명조끼 착용 생활화' 캠페인에 나선다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 안전벨트 착용률이 83%에 이른 데 비해 착용률이 14%에 그치는 구명조끼 생활화를 위해 추진됐다.

해경은 구명조끼 착용이 국민 일상에 자연스럽게 인식하고 실천될 수 있도록 대형마트,로또복권 당첨번호1077교육기관 등 공공장소 출입구에 구명조끼 스티커를 부착하는 등 캠페인에 들어갔다.

구명조끼 스티커는 '바다에선 구명조끼!채워주면 안전해요!'의 의미와 함께 자동출입문이 닫히면서 구명조끼 벨트를 손으로 채우는 듯한 이미지를 연상시켜 시인성을 높였다.
