강민수 국세청장 후보자는 12일 "저출생 문제 극복을 위해 자녀 세액공제의 기본 공제 및 출산 입양공제 금액을 상향하는 방안 등을 검토할 필요가 있다"고 말했습니다.

강 후보자는 이날 더불어민주당 임광현 의원실에 제출한 국세청장 후보자 인사청문회 서면 답변에서 이같이 밝혔습니다.

강 후보자는 '인적공제 및 교육비공제 중 직계비속에 대한 소득요건을 완화하는 방안'도 저출생 대책으로 함께 검토할 필요가 있다고 제언했습니다.

다만 "지원방안의 추가 확대는 세수효과·조세형평성 등에 대해 충분한 검토가 선행돼야 할 것으로 생각한다"고 덧붙였습니다.

정부가 상속세 개편안 중 하나로 검토 중인 유산취득세와 관련해서는 "유산취득세가 도입되더라도 원활한 시행을 위해서는 충분한 준비기간이 필요할 것"이라고 예상했습니다.

내년 1월부터 시작되는 가상자산 과세와 관련해서는 "세원 관리를 위한 전산시스템을 2022년 1월 구축 완료했고 과세 시행에 차질이 없도록 지속 유지·관리하고 있다"며 "경제협력개발기구(OECD)와 계좌·거래정보를 국가 간 정기 교환하는 것을 논의 중"이라고 말했습니다.
