과학기술정보통신부는 13일 서울에서 민간 중심의 양자정보기술 분야 글로벌 사실표준화 기구인 '퀸사(Quantum INdustrial Standard Association·QuINSA)' 출범식을 열었다고 밝혔다.

퀸사 창립 회원으로는 SKT,KT,LGU+,카지노 시청시간LG전자,포스코,LIG넥스원 등 대기업을 비롯해 IDQ,진인프라,카지노 시청시간SDT 등 중소·스타트업 등 107개 국내기업이 참여한다.

해외서도 양자컴퓨팅 분야 세계 1위 기업인 IBM(미국)을 비롯해 핀란드 IQM 등 양자정보기술 관련 첨단기업이 참여하고 아마존도 가입을 검토 중인 것으로 알려져 있다.

이날 행사는 유럽 양자정보기술 생태계 동향,한국의 양자정보기술 정책동향을 발표하고 IBM과 IQM이 글로벌 양자컴퓨팅 기술동향을 소개했다.

KT는 국내·외 양자통신 기술동향,KRISS가 국내·외 양자센싱 기술동향,SKT가 양자정보기술 산업화 사례와 동향을 발표했다.

조선학 연구개발투자심의국장은 "산업화 초기단계인 양자산업의 생태계를 신속하게 활성화하고 산업 활용을 촉진하기 위해서는 산업계 중심의 사실표준화 활동이 중요하다"며 "퀸사가 국제적으로 인정받는 사실표준화 기구로 자리매김하고,글로벌 양자정보기술 발전과 생태계 조성에 중추적인 역할을 담당할 수 있기를 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
