이로 인해 경북북북지역에서는 300명이 넘는 주민들이 비를 피해 대피에 나섰다.지난해 산사태로 피해를 입은 예천를 비롯해 영주,문경 등에서 주민 197명(안동 1명·영주 39명·상주 18명·문경 25명·예천 84명·봉화 30명·청송 5명) 129세대가 마을회관 등지로 대피했다.산사태 피해까지 발생한 영양군에서는 6개 읍면 17개 마을에 사는 128명 주민이 몸을 피한 상태다.
