중소벤처기업부는 5일 마포 드림스퀘어에서 전국상인연합회와 간담회를 열고 전통시장 민생 현안에 대한 현장의 목소리를 청취했다고 밝혔다.

간담회에서 이충환 전국상인연합회장은 "전통시장에 혁신과 변화가 선행돼야 시장도 경쟁력을 갖출 수 있고 그러기 위해서는 상인회의 안정적 운영이 뒷받침돼야 한다"며 "상인회의 역할 강화를 위한 정부 지원 확대가 필요하다"고 말했다.

또 상인은행 건립 및 상인 전용 카드 발급,배트맨 다크 나이트 라이즈소비 촉진을 위한 농·축·수산물 할인행사 확대,배트맨 다크 나이트 라이즈시장 마케팅 행사 신설 등 다양한 의견들이 나왔다.

오영주 중기부 장관은 "오늘 나온 의견을 면밀히 검토해 정책에 반영하고 관련 부처와도 지속해 협력할 것"이라며 "전통시장 발전 방향을 논의하고자 중기부와 전국상인연합회,배트맨 다크 나이트 라이즈전문가,배트맨 다크 나이트 라이즈청년 등으로 민·관·학 TF를 구성해 가동하겠다"고 말했다.

오 장관은 장마철 집중호우 침수 피해에 대한 예방 점검도 당부했다.
