정년 연장 문제를 놓고 노동계와 경영계의 주장이 맞서는 가운데,대통령 직속 경제사회노동위원회가 65세로 정년을 연장하자는 공익위원 제언을 발표했습니다.

경사노위 발표는 2033년까지 단계적으로 기업이 65세까지 근로자를 고용하도록 의무화하자는 내용인데요.

국민연금 수급 개시 연령이 높아지는 것을 감안해,유니온로또2033년에 65세가 되는 국민부터 법정 정년과 국민연금 수급 개시 연령을 맞추자는 겁니다.

우선은 개별 사업장에서 자율적인 합의를 통해 정년을 연장하면 이를 존중하도록 했고요.

합의가 따로 없는 사업장에는 고령자 계속 고용 의무가 부여됩니다.

이번 발표는 올해 관련 입법을 전제로 한 것으로,노사정 합의안이 아니어서 강제력은 없습니다.

하지만 경제계는 청년 일자리 감소에 대한 우려 때문에,또 한국노총은 노동계의 의견이 반영되지 않은 발표라며 반발하고 있는데요.

6월 대선 이후 정년 연장 문제가 본격적으로 이어질 것으로 예측됩니다.
