알고 지내던 사업가 B씨…현금 다량 보유 사실 알고 범행 시도 
[파이낸셜뉴스] 중국인 남성이 억대 돈다발이 든 지인의 가방을 훔쳐 해외로 도망가려다 인천공항에서 잡혔다.
인천 미추홀경찰서는 절도 혐의로 중국 국적의 30대 남성 A씨를 긴급체포했다고 4일 밝혔다.
A씨는 지난 2일 오후 6시 20분께 인천시 미추홀구 한 호텔 로비에 함께 투숙하기 위해 호텔을 찾은 40대 중국인 여성 B씨의 현금 가방을 훔쳐 달아난 혐의를 받고 있다.
당시 B씨의 가방에는 1000만원권 수표 10장과 90만 홍콩달러(약 1억6300만원) 등 총 2억6000여만원 상당의 지폐가 들어 있던 것으로 전해졌다.
A씨는 지인인 B씨가 사업체를 운영하며 현금을 많이 보유하고 있다는 걸 알고 범행을 시도한 것으로 조사됐다.
이에 경찰은 호텔에서 달아난 A씨의 도주 경로를 추적해 지난 3일 새벽 인천공항에서 A씨를 긴급체포했다.경찰은 추가 조사를 거쳐 절도 혐의로 A씨의 구속영장을 신청할 예정이다.
