소설가 김영현(제공 한국작가회의)

(서울=뉴스1) 박정환 문화전문기자 = '깊은 강은 멀리 흐른다'를 펴낸 소설가 김영현이 지난 9일 별세했다.향년 70세.

고인은 1955년 경남 창원에서 태어났으며 1984년 창비신작소설집에 단편소설 '깊은 강은 멀리 흐른다'를 발표하며 화제를 모았다.

이후 그는 소설집 '해남 가는 길','그리고 아무 말도 하지 않았다',장편소설 '풋사랑','폭설',시집 '겨울바다',시소설 '짜라투스트라는 이렇게 말했다' 등을 펴냈다.

그는 1990년 한국일보문학상,반지사이트 추천2007년 무영문학상을 수상했고 명지대,한신대,국민대 등에서 후학을 양성했다.한국작가회의 부이사장과 실천문학 대표를 역임한 바 있다.

유족으로는 부인 김명혜씨와 자녀 충연·주연씨가 있다.빈소는 서울아산병원 장례식장이며 발인은 11일이다.
