음주 상태에서 벤츠를 몰던 20대가 중앙선을 넘어 마주 오던 차량을 들이받아 2명이 숨졌습니다.
8일 새벽 4시 25분쯤 인천 남동구 구월동 왕복 8차선 도로에서 20대 남성 A씨가 몰던 벤츠가 중앙선을 넘어가 마주 오던 SUV와 충돌했습니다.
이 사고로 SUV에 타고 있던 60대 여성 B씨와 차량 동승자인 20대 남성이 심정지 상태로 병원으로 옮겨졌지만 결국 숨졌습니다.
또 A씨와 또 다른 동승자 3명 등 4명이 병원에서 치료를 받고 있습니다.
경찰 조사 결과 A씨의 운전면허가 정지기간 중인 것으로 확인됐습니다.
A씨는 경찰에 "음주운전을 했다"는 취지로 진술했습니다.
경찰은 정확한 경위를 조사하고 있습니다.
