주요 9개국 참여 INRA 참석

원자력안전위원회가 프랑스 파리에서 이틀간 개최되는 제55차 국제원자력규제자협의회(INRA)에 참석해 원전업계 및 각국 현안을 논의한다고 5일 밝혔다.

INRA는 주요 원전국이 매년 두 차례씩 모여 규제기관장들이 각국 안전 규제 경험을 공유하고 안전성을 강화하기 위한 정책과 국제 협력 방안을 논의하는 자리다.우리나라 외에 회원국은 미국,캐나다,영국,일본,독일,프랑스,실시간 게임스웨덴,스페인이다.이번 회의에서는 기후변화에 따른 원전의 안전성 강화 방안과 핵융합 에너지 실현에 대비한 규제 방향을 주제로 토의한다.

공통 주제 토의에 앞서 각국은 자국 현황도 공유한다.최원호 원안위원장은 이번 회의에서 △한국형 원자로 APR1400 원전 사고관리계획서 승인 △원전 상시검사 도입 △소형모듈원자로(SMR) 규제 체계 마련 계획을 소개할 예정이다.
