'우정의 무대' MC '뽀빠이' 이상용 별세

'뽀빠이'라는 별명으로 유명한 방송인 이상용이 9일 별세했습니다.향년 81세.

소속사 이메이드 관계자는 9일 "고인이 이날 낮 12시 12시 45분께 병원에 다녀오다 쓰러졌다"며 "사인은 심정지"라고 밝혔습니다.

고인은 충남 서천 출신으로 대전고,메가 커피 원신 룰렛고려대 농대를 졸업하고 학군 장교 출인 예능인 이었습니다. 고려대 응원단장과 대학 보디빌딩 대회에서 우승해 '미스터 고대'로 등극한 뒤 건강미와 재치를 갖춘 방송인으로 자리를 잡았습니다.

1970년대에는 대표적으로 KBS의 어린이 프로그램인 '모이자 노래하자'를 9년간 진행하며 당시 어린이들의 사랑을 받았습니다.

1990년대에는 89년부터는 MBC의 병영 프로그램인 '우정의 무대 MC'를 맡아 군인들의 '형님'으로 인기를 누렸습니다.

심장병 어린이 등 불우아동 돕기 사업에도 열정을 쏟았습니다.

빈소는 서울성모병원에 차려졌습니다.
