원주지방환경청은 12~30일 3주간 대규모 재난을 대비해 재난대응체계를 종합적으로 점검하기 위한 안전한국훈련을 주관한다.
이번 훈련은 각종 환경사고 대응과 화재·지진 대응을 위해 지자체,소방,경찰,카지노 코공공기관 등 10개 기관 관계자와 일반시민을 포함한 300여명이 참여한다.유해화학 물질 유출사고와 수질오염사고,정수장 오염 사고 등 각종 환경 분야에서 발생 가능한 환경사고에 대한 대응 역량 강화에 초점을 둔다.
특히 이번 훈련은 토론훈련과 현장훈련을 병행하면서 대규모 재난상황 가정 하에 실시할 예정이다.훈련 시 각 유관기관과 재난상황을 조치하기 위해 재난안전통신망(PS-LTE)을 활용해 현장과 상황실을 실시간으로 연결,대규모 재난 대비 신속한 상황 전파·대응,t 슬롯 규격대응장비 지원,수습·복구 체계를 입체적으로 훈련한다.
조현수 청장은 “이번 훈련을 통해 대응체계의 실효성을 점검하고 미비점을 보완,실제 상황에서도 국민의 생명과 안전을 지킬 수 있는 현장 대응력을 더욱 높여 나갈 방침”이라고 말했다.
