정부가 현대건설과의 수의계약 중단 절차에 착수하면서 2029년 개항을 목표로 추진돼온 가덕도신공항 건립 공사의 지연이 불가피할 전망이다.

국토교통부는 8일 가덕도신공항 부지조성공사의 수의계약 상대방인 현대건설 컨소시엄으로부터 기본설계를 보완하지 않겠다는 의견을 접수했다면서,갬블 샌드 프로모션 코드국가계약법령에 따라 수의계약 체결이 어려워졌다고 밝혔다.

앞서 국토부는 현대건설이 기존 입찰공고의 공사기간(84개월)을 초과하는 공사시간(108개월)을 반영한 기본설계를 제출하자,토토 축구지난달 28일 자로 기본설계 보완을 요구했지만 현대건설 측에서 공기 단축이 어렵다는 취지의 입장을 전한 것으로 보인다.

아울러 현대건설에서는 연약지반의 안정화 기간 추가(17개월) 및 공사 순서조정(7개월) 등 총 24개월의 추가 공사기간이 필요하다는 의견을 함께 제시했다고 국토부는 전했다.국토부가 제시한 기본계획에선 방파제 건설과 매립을 병행하는 안이지만,슬롯 타입 변경툴현대건설 측에선 방파제 일부 시공을 마친 뒤 매립을 시작하겠다는 의견이다.

국토부는 "현대건설의 기본설계와 가덕도신공항 기본계획을 토대로 국토부·공단 합동TF와 전문가 자문회의 등을 통해 안전성과 품질이 확보되면서도 일정 지연을 최소화할 수 있는 사업 정상화 방안을 신속하게 마련할 계획"이라고 덧붙였다.
