한 중소기업 직원이 계좌번호를 잘못 입력해 거래처로 보내야 할 돈을 사망자의 계좌로 입금해 돈을 돌려받지 못할 처지에 놓였다.

8일 부산 사하경찰서에 따르면 전북 부안의 한 중소기업 직원인 A씨는 3월 12일 거래처에 320만원을 보내려다 잘못 송금해 경찰에 신고했다.거래처 계좌번호 13자리 중 한 자리를 잘못 입력한 것이다.

잘못 송금한 계좌번호의 주인은 5년 전 부산 사하구에서 사망한 B씨였다.

착오 송금의 경우 은행이 입금받은 사람에게 연락을 취해 돈을 돌려받는 것이 일반적이지만 계좌주가 사망해 돈을 돌려받지 못했다.

경찰은 A씨에게 도움을 주기 위해 B씨 상속인을 수소문해 연락을 취했지만,자녀 3명 중 2명이 연락이 닿지 않은 것으로 전해졌다.

현행법상 계좌의 주인이 사망한 경우 법정 상속인 전원이 동의해야 돈을 인출할 수 있다.

경찰은 결국 사건을 '공소권 없음'으로 사건을 종결했다.

이럴 경우 A씨는 부당이득반환청구소송으로 돈을 돌려받아야 하는데,토요경마시간상속인이 연락이 닿지 않는 상태라 승소하더라도 돈을 돌려받는 데 오랜 시간이 걸릴 가능성이 크다.
