1일(현지시간) 미국 일간 월스트리트저널(WSJ)에 따르면 팀 쿡 애플 최고경영자(CEO)는 이날 자사의 1분기 실적 콘퍼런스콜에서 "이번 분기(4~6월) 중 미국에서 판매될 아이폰 대부분은 인도에서,재밌는 온라인게임 추천아이패드·애플워치 등 아이폰을 제외한 모든 기기는 베트남에서 생산될 것"이라며 "공급망을 중국 이외 지역으로 지속해 다변화하겠다"고 말했다.

쿡 CEO는 이날 CNBC와의 인터뷰에서 "현재 미국에서 판매되는 아이폰의 약 절반은 인도에서 조달 중이며 다른 제품은 베트남에서 조달하고 있다"고 밝혔다.애플은 현재 미국의 중국산 수입품 관세(20%),스포츠 토토 사이트 cab인도산 수입품 관세(10%) 부담에 노출된 상태다.
