X에 유심정보 판매 게시물 올라와 논란… 현재까지 개인정보 유출 파악 안 돼

소셜미디어에 SK텔레콤 유출정보를 판매한다는 게시물이 올라와 논란이 된 가운데 SK텔레콤은 이번 유심(USIM) 정보 해킹사고와 무관하다는 입장을 냈다.

최근 엑스(X)에는 이용자 정보가 담긴 엑셀 파일과 함께 "SKT고객 개인정보 판매합니다",보드게임 종류 나무위키"이름 주민번호 전화번호 거주지 유심정보"라는 내용을 담은 글이 올라와 논란이 됐다.

이와 관련 SK텔레콤은 지난 3일 브리핑 자료를 통해 "해당 내용은 당사 건과는 별 건으로 확인됐다"고 밝혔다.SK텔레콤은 "민관합동조사단 1차 조사 결과에 따르면 현재까지 이름,엠브이피 토토주민번호,카림 토토 도메인거주지 등 개인 신상을 특정할 수 있는 정보는 유출되지 않은 것으로 파악됐다"고 했다.

앞서 지난달 28일 일부 언론이 SK텔레콤 휴대전화가 갑자기 해지된 후 본인 명의로 KT알뜰폰이 개통되고 5000만 원이 이체된 사례를 보도하면서 논란이 됐다.일부 언론과 유튜브 채널에선 해킹사고 이후 발생한 사건이라며 연관성이 있는 것처럼 다뤘는데 해킹과는 관련 없는 스미싱 사고로 보인다.SK텔레콤은 "실제 해킹 피해는 확인되지 않았다"는 입장이다.

SK텔레콤은 지난 19일 악성코드로 인해 가입자 유심 관련 정보가 유출된 사실을 파악해 지난달 25일 유심 무상교체 등 대책을 발표했다.SK텔레콤은 유심 100만 개만 확보한 상황에서 무상교체를 발표해 이용자 불만이 커졌다.

SK텔레콤의 늑장 대응도 문제가 되고 있다.SK텔레콤은 사고 인지 후 24시간 이내에 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA)에 신고하지 않았다.문자메시지를 통한 대책 안내 등도 뒤늦게 발송해 논란이 됐다.
