(서울=연합뉴스) 성도현 기자 = 국제아동권리 비정부기구(NGO) 세이브더칠드런은 박경림 홍보대사가 보건복지부의 '제103회 어린이날 기념식'에서 대통령 표창을 받았다고 2일 밝혔다.

이 표창은 아동과 가정의 복지를 위해 힘쓴 개인 및 단체에 수여한다.

이날 서울 중구 웨스틴조선 서울에서 열린 시상식에서는 조규홍 복지부 장관과 정익중 아동권리보장원장 등이 참석했다.

박경림은 2006년 난치성을 앓는 어린이를 돕는 '스마일 어게인' 캠페인을 계기로 세이브더칠드런 홍보대사로 위촉돼 꾸준히 국내외 아동을 위한 다양한 활동에 참여해왔다.

2012년에는 '제1회 행복나눔인(人)' 복지부 장관 표창을 받았다.

박경림은 2014∼2021년 세이브더칠드런의 '이리이리바자회'를 7차례 기획·운영하기도 했다.이 행사에서 모은 2억원의 수익금은 기부했다.

2008∼2022년 '신생아 살리기 모자 뜨기 캠페인'에서 뜨개질 교습소를 진행했고,2012~2023년 '국제어린이마라톤'에 6번 참가해 아동을 돕는 마라톤의 의미를 홍보했다.

최근에는 가정방문 서비스 법제화 캠페인에 동참했다.
