이 프로그램을 통해 기술 제안서를 제출하면 LG에너지솔루션은 철저한 검토와 기술 평가를 거쳐 공동 연구개발,지분투자 등 장기적 협력 기회를 제공한다.

니드 베이스드(Need-Based) 공모는 소재 셀,셀 공정,팩,배터리 관리 시스템(BMS),시스템 6개 분야에서 오는 6월 30일까지 접수한다.

오픈 토픽(Open Topic) 공모는 주제에 제한 없이 기술 협업 아이디어를 접수하며 마감 기한 없이 연중 진행한다.

LG에너지솔루션은 OSS 외에도 국내외 대학 및 연구기관 대상 배터리 이노베이션 콘테스트(BIC) 등 다양한 오픈 이노베이션 활동에 박차를 가하고 있다.
